A job page that answers the whole question
A work order is not a form. It is the record of what was checked, quoted, bought, billed and spent, in one place.
Seven tabs on one recordGuarded job state machineSequential JOB and INV numberingTrue cost of goods per jobTimesheet against the work order
Tabs, not scrolling
- Overview, checksheet, timesheet, invoice, quote, purchase orders and cost of goods sit on the same record.
- The job status moves through a guarded state machine, so a job cannot be invoiced before it is complete or paid before it is invoiced.
- Work order and invoice numbers are sequential per workshop, allocated at the database, not guessed by the browser.
Costing you can defend
- Cost of goods reads the real part cost, not the sell price, and says so when a margin is overstated because a cost is missing.
- Labour time comes from the timesheet on the job, which is the same data the payroll view uses.
- Every total is stored to the cent with GST rounding applied the way the ATO expects, never in floating point.
What it replaces
Job cards in a tray, a second spreadsheet for costs and a folder of supplier invoices nobody reconciles.

A demo takes half an hour and uses a real workflow: a booking, a job, an inspection and an invoice.
