Parts that can be accounted for
Stock moves are a ledger, not a number someone edits. Purchase orders belong to a job, so the part is on the right customer's cost of goods.

Purchasing with a paper trail
- Raise a purchase order from the job, so the vehicle, the customer and the reason are already attached.
- Receive part of an order and the back order stays outstanding; the outstanding quantity can never exceed what was ordered.
- Supplier invoices are reconciled against what arrived, and the difference is classified rather than absorbed.
Stock that tells the truth
- Every movement is recorded, so a stock take is a comparison against a ledger rather than a hunch.
- Low stock is visible on the dashboard and can be reordered from the same screen.
- A supplier credit note is a negative bill, so a supplier statement is one sum instead of two reports.
What it replaces
A shelf count, a supplier statement in a drawer and a part ordered on someone's personal account.
